Please read these Terms of Service & Sale ("Terms") carefully. They are an agreement between you and LeaderWired Institute, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") and govern your use of our services, which include:
Part C applies to all of our services. By creating an account, starting a free trial, or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Institute provides AI-powered leadership development programs: short, focused courses organized into certificate programs, delivered as realistic, scenario-based practice sessions guided by Anna, our AI leadership coach. Learners study a skill, practice it in simulated workplace scenarios, and are scored by Anna against mastery criteria. Completing a program's courses — and passing its capstone, where the program has one — earns a Certificate of Mastery.
We offer free trials of two programs — The EQ Gym and People Skills That Produce Results — that let you complete one full skill (theory, worked example, and graded practice: three full cycles of one skill) at no cost, with no payment card required. Trials require a valid email address, are limited to one per person, and are metered on our servers. Trial access grants no rights beyond the trial content.
We may offer promotion codes from time to time. A valid code is applied at checkout, and the price shown there before you pay is the price you pay.
We provide a 1-year unrestricted access window on courses you buy outright, and LeaderWired Institute offers free trials to The EQ Gym and People Skills That Produce Results that allow a person to trial three full cycles of one skill each. For this reason, we have instituted a No Refunds position: all Institute sales are final, and we do not provide refunds, credits, or partial-use adjustments. We encourage you to try the free trial before you buy.
Certificates issued by the Institute reflect AI-graded scenario participation within the platform, scored against the mastery criteria for that program — they are not an independently proctored or invigilated examination. They are not academic degrees, professional licenses, or accredited continuing-education units, and we make no representation that any employer, institution, or licensing body will recognize them.
Due to local statutory privacy requirements, what we offer depends on where you are located, which we determine from the location of your internet connection and, for AI Coach Anna, also from the country and state you give when you sign up.
Residents of certain other jurisdictions (including California, Texas, Massachusetts, and Connecticut) may use the Institute but default to fully disabled data collection and are ineligible for the Data Contribution Program.
As of the Effective Date above, AI Coach Anna has a free plan with 15 minutes of coaching a month, Plus at $19 a month with one hour of coaching, and Premium at $49 a month with five hours. Paid plans are billed monthly, renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time. Unused paid hours roll over, up to three hours on Plus and fifteen on Premium.
Your use of AI Coach Anna, including its plans, billing, coaching hours and cancellation, is governed by the AI Coach Anna Terms of Service at aicoachanna.com/terms. Where those terms differ from anything in this document, they govern for AI Coach Anna.
The regional availability rules stated in Section A8 apply to the App.
LeaderWired courses provide educational leadership practice only. They are professional development tools, not legal, HR, medical, mental-health, or financial advice, and not a substitute for mental health counseling, psychotherapy, clinical diagnosis, or medical treatment. Using them does not create an attorney-client or other professional relationship. Anna is an AI coach; she does not provide psychological advice, and she does not monitor for clinical emergencies. By creating an account, you certify that you are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from or sell to individuals under 18. You represent and warrant that you possess the legal authority to agree to these Terms and establish binding commercial transactions.
Like all artificial-intelligence services, our AI coaching and scenario characters may make mistakes, be incomplete or inconsistent, or produce inaccurate responses. Laws vary by location and change over time, so anything the coach or a character says about rules, deadlines, or consequences may be wrong for you or out of date. Anna is an automated coach inspired by Anna Barnhill's MCC coaching methodology; she does not personally review your interactions, and responses are generated algorithmically. Scenarios, characters, companies, and situations are fictional unless we expressly say otherwise. Use your judgment and verify information that matters. You agree to use our services as self-reflective professional tools and to exercise human professional judgment before making any decision with safety, legal, medical, financial, or employment consequences: for a real workplace question, check with your organization's HR team, its policy, or a qualified professional, and seek appropriate medical, mental-health, financial, or emergency help for those concerns.
All financial transactions are securely processed by our authorized third-party billing services (Stripe and, for App subscriptions, the Apple App Store and Google Play Store). We never capture, store, or have access to your raw credit card numbers or billing credentials on our servers.
Our collection and use of personal data — including coaching conversation content, learning progress, and the Data Contribution Program — is described in our Privacy Policy and the subprocessor list.
If you experience any billing discrepancy, you agree to contact us at the email below to resolve the issue before initiating a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card company. Unwarranted chargebacks will result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account and associated data records.
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT.
Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. LeaderWired Institute, Inc. makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, effectiveness, or outcomes of AI coaching interactions or course content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, and our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your pricing or data rights, we will notify you on the site or via email and request fresh acceptance upon your next login.
